PHYSICAL EDUCATION EDUCATOR (SENIOR/FET PHASE)

This permanent, full-time position will become available in May 2025 when one of our staff members retires. It requires a qualified and self-motivated individual who will report to the Life Orientation Departmental Head.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A BEd Degree or PGCE
• Current SACE registration essential
• Prior experience in teaching Physical Education advantageous
• Clear criminal record

Responsibilities:

• Lesson planning and delivery
• Record and report on assessments
• Attend meetings for the grade/phase as required
• Involvement in the school’s sports and extramural activities essential

Key competencies:

• Attention to detail and deadline-driven
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Planning, reporting and administration
• Learner behaviour management
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office suite
