Learners are encouraged to get involved with the school wherever possible. Many committed young learners dedicate their time to serving Rand Park High by becoming involved in activities such as catering, scoring at sports events, offering assistance in the Media Centre, backstage and sound equipment management, and offering emergency care and first-aid support.
Service through leadership is also recognised and the school has 50 Grade 12 Leaders, with a head boy and head girl and 2 deputy head boys and head girls. Our Leaders are role-models who mentor, guide and inspire others while offering assistance and support to our staff. To become a Leader is aspirational at Rand Park High and a goal for many.
A Representative Council of Learners (RCL) headed by an executive committee runs various learner campaigns to build spirit and a sense of service and involvement in Rand Park High.
